Oh god Dan Savage, you fuck all the things up. >_< That is so fucking condescending, her message was empowering in a different way - a better way, I’d say, because it depends on you and not society changing which it may not. You CAN get stronger, but there’s no guarantee that anything around you will get better. And then he comes along and he’s like “OH THAT’S ~LATINA LESBIAN SPEAK~ FOR THIS WHITE CIS GAY MALE THING I’M SAYING” when it’s NOT AT ALL
